1. Hi,
   This is quite convenience to us parents….but it will be more convenient also if there is a way that you could also publish a link where we can check on what section our kids in this school opening. This is very helpful,but to some subject like homeroom, i cant buy the said school supplies unless i would know what section my daughter will be.

Hi,but I have a suggestion that you also should put the lists of classes to convince other parents to know which class their child/children will be attending.I just want to make sure that my daughter will be attending the class 6A,Mr.Cruz.And we also don’t even know the list of school supplies for 6A/6B homeroom and 6th grade Language Arts.I apologize but,I just want my daughter to be prepared and ready for your school.

      You can call Ms Jing Lalic our School Secretary at 632-5578 during office hours (8AM-4PM) to check on the status of class section. As for the other class supply list we’ll followup from the other teachers and post once available.

4. How do we know if our child is in regular or honors math? The office said a determination will be made as to placement on the first day of school, which means school supplies can not be purchased ahead of time. Can someone please look into this so that parents can avoid the crowds at the stores; some of us like to have everything ready by the first day of school.

   Also, some of the math supplies listed are a bit ridiculous. Why do the students need three different colored legal pads for writing? And, if it is a necessity to have them in three different colors, where can they be purchased since the only ones I’ve seen are either white or yellow (no pink, green, etc).

   Your child’s placement in the Honor’s class is determined by 4 factors, namely: previous Math grade, SAT Math score, result of the diagnostic exam (to be given on the first day of Math class) and teacher recommendation. Based on this, you may have an idea of what class your child would be in.
   You can purchase the different colored legal pads at Standard Office Supply in Tamuning.

   In regards to KA/KB school supplies, do we really need to buy the Santa Barbara BackPack? I already bought my child backpack he will use for this school year.

9. I was told that there will be a 6C class, however, there aren’t any supply list showing for the third 6th grade class. Please advise when the listing will be available. Classes start next week.
