A Message from the Principal

Hafa Adai!

Welcome to Santa Barbara Catholic School!

We are glad that you are visiting our website. We hope it gives you an overview of what we do and what we offer as a K-4 through 8th grade school of the Archdiocese of Agana.

As a Catholic school, we believe in education that is rooted in the Gospel. We believe that we are educating the future of our world, global citizens who will be leaders and change-agents. Thus, we work hard to ensure a comprehensive curriculum featuring Catholic retreats, outreach programs, technology, sports, the performing arts and other activities that will equip our students to face life’s many challenges and opportunities successfully.

We believe that education is a partnership between home and school. Our students come from diverse cultures, a reflection of our growing island home. Our faculty and staff ensure connections are formed, and learning expectations are achieved. We are blessed with a supportive and active parent community. They are steadfast partners in our successes and growth.

Most of all, we are committed to providing our students with opportunities and experiences that not only help them develop academically, emotionally and physically, but also help them grow in faith and spirituality.

Like all schools, the pandemic has impacted our community in unexpected ways. However, with the support of our school families, the dedication and hard work of our teachers and staff, and the perseverance of our students – our Spartans, we were able to reshape our instruction and procedures so we can continue to deliver quality, Catholic education while following safety protocols. Moving forward, please be assured that we will continue to maintain the established protocols and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Agana, and our local government.

There are many more stories to share. Please look at our photos. Read our news. If you want to find out more, do call us or visit. We invite you to explore and discover life at SBCS.

Thank you. Si Yu’os Maase. Maraming Salamat po!
