SBCS 4th Grade Retreat

SBCS 4th grade retreat
Sr. Maria Rosario Gaite, RSM together with Sr. Jeanette Marie Pangelinan, RSM welcomed fourth graders and retreat facilitators Ms. Bernadette Alcantara and Ms. Joyce Guevara to the convent.
The fourth grade classes at Santa Barbara Catholic School pressed pause on academic pursuits on August 28 & 30 to spend the day in prayer and reflection. Their focus is meditating on God’s love for them made manifest in Jesus Christ.

SBCS holds these retreats annually as part of the school’s Faith Formation program, and students from 4th to 8th grade are able to participate after they’ve received the sacraments of Penance and Eucharist usually during 3rd grade. Retreats are designed to help students form and deepen their relationship with God and one another, as well as to strengthen the Mercy charism of the school.
