  1. I remember SR Jeanette Marie when I attended school there in the 1st grade. She was my favorite teacher throughout my life. I will never forget her smile. I would always volunteer to take the lunch money collected to the office. I felt as if I was trusted overall the other students. My mother Maria Hill still has a picture of me standing in the front of the line waiting to go down the slide. My mom tells me that I was a teachers pet.

  2. Doesn’t mention 1968 when Tropical Storm Olga took the roof off the school. Sister Mary James class (mine) met in the sister’s convent (not the new one). We felt so special!
