Our annual spring production, “Disney’s Mulan Junior” is just less than 8 days away. Our students and teachers have been working hard, rehearsing daily to make sure that this ancient Chinese tale of a young woman’s courage, honor, determination and love for family and country, will be a production you will be proud of and enjoy.
Below are some information and important reminders to ensure the success of our show:
PERFORMANCE DATES: The following are the class performance schedules:
March 31 – K4
March 31 and April 1, 2011 – B Classes and 6C (class numbers 1-10)
April 7 and April 8, 2011 – A Classes, KC and 6C (class numbers 11-18)
TICKETS: Please turn in the payment and all unsold tickets today, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 to your child’s homeroom teacher. General admission tickets are priced $10 each.
COSTUMES AND PROPS: The following costumes are still being prepared for the different grade levels: (A separate memo will be sent later regarding the price of the costumes.)
PreK to Grade 4: Cheongsams for girls and Chinese Pajamas for boys and varying props
Grade 5 to 7, Grade 8 (cast and production staff crew only): Chinese soldier tops of varying colors per grade level.
For grades 5-8, we have asked the homeroom teachers to coordinate with you regarding other costume components that you have to prepare for your children: all-black jogging pants/tights/leggings, white knee-high socks and all-black shoes.
VIDEOTAPING: In compliance with the contract we signed with Music Theater International (MTI), from whom we obtained the license to stage this musical, the VIDEOTAPING or other video or audio recording of the production or parts of the production is strictly prohibited. We need your cooperation on this matter by strictly following this guideline.
