Islandwide Science Fair Awarding 2014
Congratulations to all our SBCS students who participated in the 2014 Islandwide Science Fair competition.
American Scholastic Mathematics Association
Congratulations to Kyle Adriano and Camille Castro for being the top scorers in school in the recently concluded American Scholastic Mathematics Association SY 2012-2013 competition. SBCS got third place in the final rankings. Other students who participated were Jeff Aggabao, Danielle Catolos, Patrick Noli Gamiao, Thao Vy Le, Angelika Nulud and Gino Reyes.
Kick the Butt Pledge Against Cancer

6B Class President, Kobe Onedera, Class Vice-President, Chloe Oftana, and homeroom teacher, Ms. Roxas, receive the prizes 6B won in the Kick the Butt Pledge Against Cancer from the American Cancer Society representatives.

Patriots Pen Essay Contest
Each year the National Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) conducts a youth essay writing contest for U.S. citizen students in grades 6.7.8 which gives the students an opportunity to express their views on democracy. Contestants wrote a 300-400 word essay based on the annual patriotic theme for SY 2012-2013,
“What I Would Tell America’s Founding Fathers”
Nathaniel Moylan (7A) came in second at the Post competition.
Nolan Miles (7B) came in first at the Post competition and Second in the District competition.
