Pizza Making by 1B Students for UN Day Celebration

by Mrs. Grace Yanger, 1B Homeroom Adviser

Grade 1 is representing Italy for the United Nations Day celebration tomorrow, October 21, 2010. In line with this, the 1B class did a Pizza Making activity since Pizza is one of the famous delicacies of Italy. The students had a hands-on activity in making their own Pizza as well as learning the different ingredients and the process of pizza making. The theme for the class activity is “Unity” which the students practiced while working with their group. Thanks to our parents: Mrs. Rosario, Mrs. Delfino, Mrs. Babauta, Mrs. Baldonado and other 1B parents in for making this activity fun and enjoyable for the kids.
