On March 11, 2016, the 8th grade class had an opportunity to listen to 3 individuals speak about their job and how they became successful in their career: Fr. Gerry Hernandez (Priest), Mr. Joey Manibusan (Assistant Chief, Firefighter), Mr. Gary Artero (Social Worker, DOA).
Geography Bee
On January 24, 2016, Santa Barbara Catholic School held the National Geographic Bee competition among representatives from 4th – 8th grade. Representatives from each grade competed against each other in earlier preliminary rounds. After several rounds, Christian Reyes (8B) was named Santa Barbara Catholic School’s champion and Pamela Marinas (8B) was the runner-up. Excellent job to our winners and all the representatives of the Geographic Bee!
