Students at SBCS are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities that meet their interests and needs. The following school organizations and activities are available for students to join:
- Student Council – an organization that provides opportunity for students to be trained in leadership and service to the school. Students from grades 6-8 may run for office. Elections are held in the beginning of the school year.
- National Junior Honor Society – an organization established to recognize outstanding middle school students. It serves to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the following areas: scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
- Honor Choir – is designed to develop love, appreciation, and knowledge of music through choral singing. The Honor Choir is open to students from grades 3-8.
- Interscholastic Sports – a program designed to develop skills in physical and social fitness, and knowledge of healthy lifestyle. Students involved in the Interscholastic Sports program represent the school in the quarterly sports competition sponsored by the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam (IIAAG), namely: Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Touch Rugby, and Track and Field.
- Mercy Club – a program designed to promote the charism of the Sisters of Mercy and its founder, Catherine McAuley.
- Safety Patrol – a program designed to help students be safe through activities such as aiding traffic,
monitoring hallways, etc. - Academic Challenge Bowl – a program designed to enrich learning in all subject areas among Junion High students. They compete with fellow students from private and public schools in an islandwide academic competition.
- Math Counts – an accelerated program aimed at training students in the Junior High to compete in a series of Math competitions held on island.
- Math Olympiads – another program designed to promote interest and excellence in Mathematics and is open to students in the third through fifth grades. Students compete in an islandwide competition at the end of the year.
- Art Club – this club provides opportunities for students interested in pursuing areas of art beyond the classroom. It is open to students from grades 4-8.
