Below is the calendar of activities for the archdiocese and the school. All are invited to come and celebrate!

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2018

SIGNING OF THE PROCLAMATION OF CSW 2018
Representatives from different schools, school administrators witness the proclamation of Catholic Schools Week 2018 signed by the governor
SATURDAY
Jan. 27, 2018,
8 am to 12 noon
Ypao Beach Ampitheater
FAMILY PICNIC
All families are invited to come;
Schools are bringing food to share; Families may also bring food to share. Food trucks will also be available.
There will be activities and games for students.
SUNDAY
Jan. 28, 2018,
9:30 mass at the
Agana Cathedral
Masses in Different Parishes
CSW Opening Mass
Representatives of different schools are invited to come to this Mass to be officiated by Archbishop Byrnes.
Students are enjoined to proudly wear their Catholic schooluniform when they attend Mass this Sunday
MONDAY
Jan. 29, 2018
Opening; Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day

  • Whole Day Activity: “Mini-Me”
  • Selected Junior High Students will be the “mini-me” of all the Administrators, Faculty and Staff;

9 am Mass, Fr. Fran Hezel, SJ
10 am Awards for 5, 10, 15, 25 and 40 years of service at the Petrie Gym

TUESDAY
Jan. 30, 2018
Student Appreciation Day
8-9:45 – Games for grades K-3
9:45 a.m. FD Honor Guards Presentation
1 p.m.– Sports Jam for grades 4-8
WEDNESDAY:
Jan. 31, 2018
Spirit Day
Students are asked to come to school wearing jeans and any SBCS shirt that they have to show school spirit. (ex. sports, Christmas play, Spring play, fun run)
THURSDAY
Feb. 1, 2018
1 PM Talent Show
As entrance “fee” the students bring canned goods to donate to the Sisters of Mercy for their Travelling Pantry.
FRIDAY
Feb. 2, 2018
7:30 am to 12 noon
FD Phoenix Center
Catholic Schools Educators Conference
No school for students; Teachers and staff come together for a conference.
Registration begins at 7:30 am; Mass caps the conference from 11-12 noon.
